Creels
Servo creel
The servo creel is a fiber tension system with integrated tension sensors to add compliance and allow very dynamic tension variations. The electronic-controlled tensioning system is suitable for high-end applications. The system can deliver glass, carbon and basalt fiber with accurate tensioning. The bobbins are placed horizontally, and the roving is pulled from the outside. This creel makes it possible to switch easily between glass, basalt or carbon production. Carbon fibers will be shielded as much as possible to prevent dust from contaminating the production area.
Mechanical creel
The mechanical creel is a fiber tension system with an integrated mechanical brake to add tension to the fibers. The tension system is suitable for normal applications and can deliver accurate tensioning to glass, carbon, and basalt fiber. The bobbins are placed horizontally, and the roving is pulled from the outside.
Bookshelf creel
The bobbins, which are mostly glass fiber, are placed on a shelf and guided towards the resin tray. The fibers are pulled inside out.
Pallet creel
The pallet creel unwinds the glass fiber from the supplied bobbins and supplies it parallel with a defined tension to the resin bath. The bobbins stay on the supplier-delivered pallet and can be connected internally. The pallet can contain 12 or 16 bobbins on a layer.
The fibers can also remain on the pallets on which they arrive from the supplier. The fibers can connected internally to continue the winding process.
